On 10 April 2025, the Rapido 500 ECO Power Cat will have its Global Premiere at the Singapore Yachting Festival.
And this is just the beginning of Rapido's commitment to Power Cats.

Rapido 500 ECO Power Cat
We believe that the Rapido 500 ECO Power Cat will be a gamechanger due to its incredible economy. With a light displacement of just over 6T (8T when fully loaded up with fuel, water, people and goods) and its highly efficient hull shape, its fuel economy will be outstanding.
We are currently gathering fuel economy data from its maiden voyage from Vietnam to Singapore (she departed this morning, 7 April 2025) and we will share the real data at the Singapore Yachting Festival.
But Rapido is already actively expanding its portfolio of power cats.
Rapido 400 - Private and centre console versions
Underway in the factory at the moment (April 2025), is the tooling work for two new 40' power cats.
The first version will be a private version with up to three berths.
The second will be a commercial centre console version.
The R400 Centre Console is a police/ patrol type craft. It is designed to be low cost, rugged, multi-purpose.
This version could easily be used as a commuter or for private use as a weekend get-away boat. Other potential applications include dive boat, private fishing, patrol boat, navy seals, rescue craft.
RC17 - Commercial
The RC17 (Commercial), designed by Albatross Marine Design, has protected props, strengthened hulls for mooring alongside the beach, bow steps for beach access and for those wishing to swim further out from shore, there are stern steps.
To ensure maximum revenue for operators the boat has been designed with maximum versatility in mind. The aft seating, for example, can be built to be modular plug in/out.
With a focus on costs, the RC17 has been designed and built to be a practical, robust cat which is both easy to operate and maintain.
The RC17 (Commercial) has four separate areas for passenger enjoyment; namely:
Upper deck,
Aft deck
Saloon (can be air-conditioned); and
Bow area.

RC17 - Owner's
In the owner's version of the RC17 the focus is on excellent, bright, airy, open, living spaces rather than over-sized bedrooms for sleeping.
There are options for either three or four cabins, two or three heads and an extra helm in the saloon.
The RC17 (Owner’s) is a superb social boat for entertaining family, friends and business associates.
The RC17 can cruise at 22–25 knots.
Propulsion can be diesels, hybrids and / or electric.
